Rating: 4 out of 5 based on 33 ratings

Have you ever stayed in a grain bin?

The Round House was developed by a designer from Oak Park, Illinois. He was a customer at Marcia’s Bed and Breakfast who decided to stay and design and build in 2008.

These grain bins were built to hold the grain that was harvested in the farm.

We recycled this one into a romantic get-a-way.

The Round House is such a delight and very popular with guest.

Upon entering the Round House you are greeted by the steps to the right that lead to the secluded loft.

The Round House is fitted with a comfortable Queen sized bed with four heavenly pillows for your comfort. You will find a desk underneath a casement window.

The waist high railing overlooks one-third of the downstairs.

The Round House has cooling Air-Conditioning and very relaxing chairs to sit in.

The view from the window is farmland and not asphalt and concrete.

You will see trees and my pasture where my horses graze.

The main room is 18 feet in diameter and includes a built in kitchenette with a free form table and chairs.

The Kitchenette includes a refrigerator and a coffee maker along with a microwave and toaster oven. Table setting for four is supplied also.

The old fashioned swing is a fun addition enjoyed by young and old alike.

The double recliner adds to the romantic atmosphere while sitting in the low light listening to Sirius satellite radio.

Enjoy a stay in the Round House at Marcia’s Bed and Breakfast in Ottawa Illinois.
